A Message From Our Pastor
When I speak with individuals who are planning to join Hope I hear over and over again how they feel comfortable, welcomed and at home here. They use different words but it comes down to feeling loved and accepted. On Sunday mornings when we greet one another it is obvious that we care about each other. In many ways that is surprising since we are very diverse. We are young and old, single and married, gay and straight, working and retired, have children and are childless, multiracial. We come from a variety of religious traditions and represent a wide spectrum of socioeconomic groups. On the surface we seem very different but we have one important thing in common; we want to grow in our faith.
We are far from perfect. If you spend time with us you will learn that we all have warts. Yet we live with one another’s warts knowing that Jesus Christ calls us to love one another. We seek to share the “good news” as a community of faith striving always to be “Christ like” to a hurting world. We would be glad to see you visit us. |
